ULTRASOUND WORKFLOW - Residents are to perform all OB ultrasound >14 weeks during nights / weekends. Please see these instructions for how to document your ultrasound.

Procedure Pass (AKA The Preop Book)
1. Go to My Reports
2. Click on UWOP Procedure Pass Gyn/Onc Pilot
3. Click on by Procedure Date
4. Select your patient
The Green check under the Ambulatory Clinic Sign-off is the final check box
You are NOT responsible for COVID Testing, you can still check off a patient if it is not complete. It is the responsibility of FDS to confirm COVID testing.
5. The bottom half of your screen will have Procedure Pass Report and Px Pass Labs and Images
6. You will see manually entered comments from the RN staff
7. When you have reviewed needed elements: Labs, Imaging, Anesthesia PASS recs, you can sign off on the case by clicking the Green Check in Ambulatory Clinic Sign off. Refresh to confirm the check stays (it has disappeared before)
8. There have been instances where the attending surgeon has NOT signed consent. Often the patient has already signed consent and a half moon will appear under consent status.
A heads up to the attending prior to the day of surgery is appreciated so that the consent can be completed before the patient arrives at FDS.

Pregnancy Termination
Fill out the Wisconsin Termination Certification Form prior to any D&E or previable IOL when cardiac activity still present, regardless of if you are moving forward prior to the 24 hour window for maternal status. Here are some pointers/must-dos.
Physician to perform: Leave blank unless you know for sure.

III, IV, or V. Fill out. We recommend doing the ultrasound yourself and thus filling out section III. If you do the ultrasound yourself, you do not need to fill out IV or V.
Give the patient a copy of the form.
